Based on Bryan Burrough’s book Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933–34, Public Enemies is slated for a release in 2009. With the backdrop of the Great Depression of the 30s, Public Enemies is a story of an FBI agent who has opened battled against the Mafiosi. Although the plot has been used in several films, what makes the film a must see is Johny Depp who plays John Dillinger the criminal.
