A young couple suspects that their house is haunted by a malevolent entity. They set up video surveillance to capture evidence of what happens at night as they sleep. Their surveillance and home videos have been edited into the 99 minute feature film Paranormal Activity.

@ChRiStOpHeR7458 It is not the highest grossing movie ever, it is the most profitable, and partly for the fact it only had a budget of $15,000. There is a big difference between these terms. The highest grossing movie of all time before inflation is Avatar. There are lots of things that are profitable that are crap, and this is one of them!
